It was a nice book. Shows people how someone can change over the years and is NOT your fault. What you should do.
Jilly leaves her abusive husband and with the help of her daughter and friends learns how to get strength and decisive. Great soul searcher, and psychoanalytic of abuser and abused. Good from start to end.
This was a very different take on the usual domestic abuse that we usually read about, that happens more often then is reported. I did like how it was told and it was a very good story and fast read. The story line went fast, almost to fast I think in the real world, but sometimes, it could happen the way it was told. Especially with the daughter that was college age. Worth reading.
This book looks at the very serious subject of emotional abuse of women- How hard it is to leave, how difficult to start over? Faith O'Grady wrote a very readable book with stories that grab your interest.
